Chapman Actors

Just found out that one of the guys a class or two below my at Chapman had a pretty solid guest role on Bunheads.  It's some quick talking, reference making TV show on ABC Family written by that lady who did Gilmore Girls.  It's similar but not the same.  It doesn't have the same charm that I enjoyed with the Gilmore girls, but that could be due to the fact that I jumped in at Episode 8 just to see what Casey Adler was doing.  And I have to admit that he's doing great.  I may be a bit biased, cause I always liked him as a person as well as an actor, but he does really pull off that boyish overzealous charm quite nicely.  It's a cute little story and he's got a surprising amount of lines.  I didn't really expect much from it, but I'm going to stick around with this show to at least see Episode 9 (the other episode that he's in).

I don't get ABC family, so this is yet another time when I thank Hulu for being there.  Someday I'm sure they're going to get rid of free viewing, and that'll be the day when I have to skitter back to the edges of internet TV society and start digging around in the gloomy outskirts of streaming video.  Doom!  DooooOom!

I will also say that I do very much like the Grandmother from Gilmore Girls. Besides Casey, I feel like she is the reason I would come back to the show. I'm not that into the haughty teenage dancer girls.  And they're pretty big, as it's a show about dance.
