Graduation fun
Spent Saturday with Sam and Bryan. Sam Beaumont is a member of my cohort at CSUDH and one of the gals that I'm closest to. She and Bryan were a part of the SD plan. After doing some homework, it was great to get away for the whole day, eat drink and be merry. After the luncheon with Bryan's friends and family there was an "after party" at his place that lasted long into the night. I was waiting for a call from Jason about D&B but it must have come while I was driving Sam and April out to get their Taco Bell drunk food because I did not see it until I left Irvine at like 11:30pm.
Spent that afternoon in the company of good friends, new friends, with food and drink. It was nice. Conversations and video games. I drank and entire bottle of wine. Sam has been trying out White Zin's and the other day we had some after class. I sipped it, she drank it. So when it came to purchasing something to drink for the party, I went with one bottle of the same thing that she got and drank that through the evening.
Alex, Bryan's friend who also happens to be a wine guy for Whole Foods, was there. Met him a month or so back and he laughed at our wine choice. Fruit juice with alcohol. Also got to spend some time with Sam's roomate and her boyfriend, Abby and Parker.
Not a bad way to spend your saturday, if I do say so myself.
Instead of a graduation cap, Bryan and the other individuals in his major wore hard hats with tassels attached to the top. They're some sort of engineers so it made sense, it was just unusual from what I hear. I didn't actually go to the graduation itself. Just the fun part.
