I'm sorry, I can't hear you over the sound of how awesome I am.

Alright, SO! I has super good news for those of you who aren't informed. As you might know, I have a new job! Go me! I work at the Borders Express in the mall. I'm working as seasonal at the moment. I started on Thursday. I fucking love it. It's absolutely amazing! I feel real at home, ya know? Plus, shit tons of my friends shop there. I've seen 10-15 people I know since Thursday. It's crazy! But then again, most of my friends are in this area >.< Either way, today was my fourth day doing register. I know how to do everything. I learned how to order books for the store and for customers.

On my first day of register, I picked things up relatively quickly and in a couple hours I was able to ring people up with minimal mistakes.

On my second day of register, the manager Dennis told me my work performance was exceptional. I will be getting good hours during seasonal, and if I keep the pace up, I will be kept on board after seasonal ends.

On my third day of register, I met the district manager. She was impressed. Dennis told her I had been there less than a week. She was even more impressed.

On my fourth day of register, my assistant manager, the one who trained me on register, told me I was a godsend and gave me a big hug.

Either way, this will be super. If I keep doinitrite, then I have a job until I move. Wootsauce. I'm gonna have to have a lot more restraint, though. I haven't even gotten paid yet and I already have books I'm buying over the next month.

12/19: "World War Z" by Max Brooks and a World of Warcraft comic.
1/1: Everyone's Christmas presents (LOL), a book on Gary Heidnik, another random serial killer book, new issue of Scientific American, the Megatokyo 5 I ordered, and more to come probably.

I just have to make sure I have enough to visit Michael if I'm able to. I doubt it, so that means I'll probably have to visit in February then. Which is totally fine. I has to be realistic at time.

Haha, speaking of reality..

I do not has! Because I have The Sims 2 and all its expansions (<3 torrents)! So pretty much, my life is only gonna exist through simulated experiences. I already view my life from an outside POV with status bars. ESPECIALLY when I use the restroom. Isn't that sad? But, on to more bragging! I'm setting it up all by myself! Yay for Ashley's ONE SINGLE big computer geek moment. I didn't know some mounting orders (I've been kinda winging it) and I though the .bin and .cue weren't working, so I made an .iso file out of them because the .iso files were working. Doh, I just forgot to patch the University expansion. Either way, this has been a fun experience for me. Hopefully I don't noobsauce it TOO much and by the time all this shit is done, turns out DRRRRRRRR I fucked it up somehow. I hope not :(

Either way, the whole entire entry was just to point out that I've been pretty l33tz0r lately. Hey, I gotta have SOME self-esteem, eh?

ETA: Hahahaha I knew I would. I totally noobed it up. thankfully, I had Michael here to help me with it. I had to uninstall everything. Yeah, EVERYTHING.. It's all good, I didn't get TOO far. I'll just install it tomorrow. By the end of this week, I WILL HAS TEH S1MZ!

nerdy, work
