Cold hands..: Snape/Lupin

Apr 24, 2006 20:44

Sirius had been like a furnace. Curled against him in the unheated rooms of Grimmauld Place, one arm pinning him in place, smothering him with heat, warmth, touch. He had been a restless sleeper, waking Remus every time he shifted and muttered in his dreams. He was a very affectionate man- too much for one person- and his eyes always asked that Remus understand that and forgive him.

Snape had cold hands, stayed on his side of the bed, slept like the dead.

And he always watched when Remus moved. He never said anything, but he didn't look at anyone else.
