so before i go into my lovely thoughts, i would just like to say that Devin is awesome and makes every single moment i'm with him worth remembering. No one has ever made me so happy!
Anyways...now that that's understood...haha...
I was hanging out with Lindsey tonight and we started talking about everything. I just kind of started thinking about a lot of things that hadn't crossed my mind. I'm starting to think less of promise-makers. How can you promise someone something...you never know what your future holds for you. Life can leave you in just a moment. There is so much more power in a moment than any other period of time. I mean there's no use in worrying about tomorrow or the next day or sitting back and looking at the past you won't allow yourself to forget. That's not what God wants and it's not what anyone deserves.
I've decided I'd rather be a fool, than anything else. I'd rather go through life taking babysteps. Change is a slow process...you'll get there eventually, but what's the rush? Patience is the key. I'd rather look around at the highlights in life and cherish the smiles and the tears. They all symbolize so much more than words on paper...or letters on a computer screen. The smiles, the laughs, the tears, the pain. those are the undefinable moments that make you stronger and that keep you going. It's the tears that get you from one smile to the next. Nothing's perfect. Perfect is excepting imperfection without judgement. judgement is unfair and ignorant. no one wants to be judged, nor does anyone have that right. so, anyone who finds dragging out my mistakes amusing, unless you're God don't try to criticize any wrong that i've done. it's not your place. after you go and sit in front of the mirror for a while, reflecting upon your life, then and only then come to me, but keep in mind...if you're not perfect, which nothing is, then don't try to make yourself feel better by dragging people down...it's really pretty pathetic.
ok i'm done ranting...i love you all and i am so blessed to have such amazing friends! you guys seriously rock and i don't know where i would be without you. :) thanks for everything!
