what's wrong with people?
ya see that entry below this one? well, the fuckers are at it again!! i stepped outside because i heard some yelling, and discovered a VERY angry mother trying to tear the door off the hinges of the russian family's apartment. seems they hit TWO children this time. well, the cops we called, of course. the manager tried to play referee. i would say there were a good 20 people gathered, ready for a good old fashioned lynching. when the cops showed up, they actually had to ask us what was going on!! didn't they get the message from dispatch? or did they just decide to pull in because there was an angry black woman yelling around a bunch of white folks? but anyway, there were at least three officers, all doing a whole lot of nothing. i never saw the russians come out, and when the officers finally left, i went to talk to the grandmother of one of the children that was hit. now get this. no arrests were made!! what the hell? why bother calling them on an assault if they're not going to do anything about it? hmm... maybe they want us to take it upon ourselves to mete out justice as we see fit. well, i think we can figure something out there. after all... the lights in our car port don't work quite right and it's really hard to see out there at night.
