Week 4 of Halo 4
I'm claiming surgery as my excuse for not updating here lately, and I'm sticking to it! (Nah, srsly. I did go through a major surgery. Good thing I had Halo 4 to keep me entertained!)
So it's been four weeks since Halo 4 was released. How's everyone doing? - And I should mention here, IF YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED THROUGH THE CAMPAIGN, COMMENTS MAY INCLUDE SPOILERS. Obviously.
Personally? I've completed the Campaign Solo on Legendary, all released Spartan Ops the same, found all the Terminals, and have progressed my Spartan IV to SR54; I'm currently pursuing the Pioneer Specialization. My stats aren't where I'd like them to be, though. Many of my friends and clan members haven't been online, so I get stuck with the losing teams all the time. :( Also, has anyone else noticed the increased amount of spawn killing? Some of the respawn zones I just don't understand.
I absolutely adore the Campaign. I think I've spent over a day playing the levels, and I doubt I'll tire of them anytime soon. If I had to pick a favorite level, I'd go with Midnight. As for Spartan Ops, 343 Industries has really out done themselves and far surpassed all expectations with their addition to the Halo experience. I cannot wait until Monday for Episode 5!
Speaking of the Halo experience, let's talk Waypoint for a moment here. Anyone interested in some nifty armor unlocks and free XP? Clicky the cut below for some codes of awesome:

You enter these codes by going to Waypoint either on your X-Box or online at halowaypoint.com
There are some incredibly intelligent people over at the Waypoint Forums that are working on these. The latest rumor I read on the forums with regards to additional unlocks is that the Raider DSTT Helmet is coming soon, but is reliant upon the Halo community reaching 1,000,000 War Games matches. However, the source of said rumor was not verifiable, so take that with a grain of salt. In short, the helmet unlock should be coming in the future, but no one really knows when.
Also in this update, since this comm is meant to be a place for connecting with our fellow Spartans, I'm including some links in the sidebar to Halo Tracker and Halo Unity. The latter has an app, and is a great place to keep up-to-date on events and tournaments if you're into that sort of thing. Halo Tracker also has that info, but it namely compiles your stats in a different, more competitive way than Halo Waypoint. If there are other sites you think I should link to, let me know and I'll get them up!
Last but not least, Moderated Posting Ends 12.06.12! We'll still want to be careful with spoilers, but most people should be through the campaign by then. - And remember, you guys can make entries here, too! It doesn't have to just be us two mods! :D
