Oh my God. The Foo Fighters concert on Saturday night with The D4 as the support act was AMAZING. The D4 were good as a support act, they were fast and energetic - they rocked. The Foo Fighters were friggin' amazing. They were so good.

Sam and I got there at about 5:45pm and queued until the doors opened at 6pm. It was freezing in the queue because it was windy and we had no jackets - it was worth the pain though. We waited in the Supertop until 8pm when The D4 came out and played til 8:30pm. Then the techies changed the equipment and the Foo Fighters came on at 8:55pm. They played til around 11pm sometime. It rocked. The best 5 - 6 hours.

All the songs we used to sing, everything was good
Sam and I were stalked by a plastic bag. Hah. There was a bag by our feet when we were waiting for The D4 to come on. We kicked it away and it came back, we kicked it away again and it came back. Then we kicked it away, then heard some random guys pick it up and say "hey! there's food in here" and they ate the random food then dropped the bag. A while later the now empty plastic bag made its way back to our feet, we kicked it away. After the concert, we walked out of the Supertop and I looked down and said "hey...there's the bag" and it was by our feet in the crowd, again. So, we kept it. Hah. A momento.

There was a stoned mophead who kept popping up around us too. Hah. He was in front of me and his gross, smelly, mophead hair was in my face. I just moved a little to the side and his hair was out of my way. He kept moving around though, when nothing was happening. Then we moved and occasionally we would see him pop up around us and we'd be like "oh God, please let him stay away". Haha.

Sam kept getting her phone out of her pocket and checking it for texts and to check the time so we knew how much longer we had to wait around. Whenever she pulled out her phone though, she accidentally touched the ass of the guy in front of us. She did it like 10 times, haha. It was so funny.

Anyway, the Foo Fighters were so good. Dave Grohl was drinking beer and shaking his head on the left side of stage when The D4 were playing. I saw him and started staring, then Taylor Hawkins popped up next to him for a second and then left, then I told Sam and we both stared at Dave Grohl. A minute later everybody else saw him and he turned to the audience and realised that everyone had seen him there and was watching him, so he left. They were amazing though, so much fun.
