The holidays are finally here. Finally. They are much needed. However, when the holidays start it means that they will end and the end of the holidays brings school and exams. I have a love/hate relationship with the term 3 holidays.

It's voting day. I, personally, am backing a Labour/Greens coalition. There are some hilariously random parties...
The 99 MP Party - and the point of this party is...?
The Change The Government Party - the whole reason we have an election IS to change the government.
Aotearoa Legalise Cannabis Party - no prize for guessing who will be voting for them. Holy, they actually won 1.66% of the vote in the 1996 election but then their support declined (thank God) and they only received 1.10% in 1999 and 0.64% in 2002.
Outdoor Recreation NZ - a party about sport and outdoor recreational activites and they have an affiliation with United Future NZ, enough said.
Te Tawharau - roughly translated as "the shelter".
The New Zealand Democratic Party For Social Credit - Wow, long name.
WIN Party - Another useless party affiliated with United Future NZ. Their main (and only) policy is making smoking in bars legal again.

I want to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory SO much. I'm going to see it this week regardless of whether I see it with a friend or go alone. I just want to see it! I'm so glad we get 3 weeks of holidays as opposed to the 2 weeks that public schools get.
