It's the holidays! Yay! 2 weeks off! I really need this break. I'm going to try to make the most of this blessed time.
Lost season 1 is over! No! I'm falling into a depression because my Wednesday nights are so empty now. So empty. So vacant. So sad. ER is ending tonight too. How sad. Carter is leaving! The only original character from the pilot episode. So sad. Third Watch is ending next week too. Oh no. Everything is coming to an end.
I want a digital video camera for Christmas. I know, months and months until Christmas...but still... There is nothing wrong with planning early. Hmm, I think for a joint Christmas and birthday present I want a digital video camera. I wanted one last year but instead thought it would be better to get my mp3 and it was. I loves it. I really want a digital video camera now though. That's the only thing I really want.
I brought the new Foo Fighters album, In Your Honor, today. It's very good. I think everyone should buy a copy. I love the double CD idea, "one loud, one not so loud". Guests on the album include Josh Homme (Queens Of The Stone Age), John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin) and Norah Jones. It's an awesome CD. I'm listening to the song "Still" from disc 2 at the moment, I love it. Dave Grohls lyrics are quite haunting, especially in the first verse.
If you'd like to walk a while
We could waste the day
Follow me into the trees
I will lead the way
Bring some change up to the bridge
Bring some alcohol
There we'll make a final wish
Just before the fall
Promise I will be forever yours
Promise not to say another word
Nevermind whats done is done
Always was a lucky one
Watch the sunrise all alone
Sitting on the tracks
Hear the train come roaring in
Never coming back
Laying quiet in the grass
Everything is still
River stones and broken bones
Scattered on the hill
Promise I will be forever yours
Promise not to say another word
Nevermind whats done is done
Always was a lucky one
Promise I will be forever yours
Promise not to say another word
Here forever deep beneath the dirt
Nevermind whats done is done
Always was a lucky one
