This is my version of the year-ender meme. This is traditionally done on dec 31st for all. For me however, I'll soon be celebrating the end of my 1st year post-college. This meme celebrates the cycle of May 2007 - June 2008. It was a crazy year. Insane year. Long year. But it was the best year.
1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?
Graduate? Work. Earn money. Save. Refuse love. Wait. :P
2. Did you keep your faith goals, and will you make more for next year?
Oh yes. Some, I didn't push for. Some simply weren't meant. But some, some worked out beautifully.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Why is this a relevant question?
4. Did anyone close to you die?
I thank God there wasn't.
5. What countries did you visit?
None. I'm working on it.
6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
Travel. Rest. Reading time. Less commute time. A place closer to where I (will) work, wherever that is.
7. What date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
I don't really mark dates. I remember whole chunks of memories. November 2007, February and May 2008 had all been awesome. Roadtrips and roads going home had been pleasant.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Graduate with honors? Saving my first 6 figures...and second. Being happy though, consistenly. That tops that.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not being able to save more. Not deciding sooner.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Every three months, if I remember. But I'm healthy now. :)
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My parents bought Klaus, my macbook so that doesn't count. I bought my books though. And my clothes.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Oh my gosh, so many. My Ate Mutya, for being everything excellent. Adrian, for being Adrian. My mom. My team, my boss. My kids. For everyday and every smile.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
So many too. Mga tanga.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Oh oh oh. *sheepish* Clothes :P Books. Cab rides. Dinners and lunches and movie dates. But they were all worth it.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Everyday. Work, as crazy as that sounds. Tomorrow. My hair growing. Giving out outstanding work.
16. What song will always remind you of the past year?
Hallelujah by Rufus Wainwright.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? Happier. In many many ways.
ii. thinner or fatter? Thinner. (maybe?)

I don't think of it that way.
26. What was the best book you read?

The Magnetic Fields!
28. What did you want and get?
