Shinigami are the death gods. Quite somber things, running about in all black and carrying swords. Horribly boring sort. Hollows are corrupt souls that failed to move on after death and succumbed to their darker side, for lack of a better way of putting it.

Interesting is relative, is it not?

Shinigami really exist in your world? I've always thought they were merely legends. Though, I don't we have anything like that in mine.
