Pretty Clearly
sorry for all the long posts suddenly. when you uncork the bottle...
I'm in an enormous building. Sometimes it is a mall and sometimes it is a hotel. I am in the last few stages of arranging a wedding. I am flitting up and down between my room on the bottom floor and another room on the top floor where we are doing preparations.
In one of the rooms is a tiger. Maybe he is a cub? He is my friend and he is much larger than I am and I simply do not have time to play.
There is also a girl and she smells fierce and sweet and I simply do not have time to play.
There is also a white tiger cub - or a beagle puppy? He is scared and lonely and I want to make him happy but I simply do not have time to play.
I go up and down, after one little thing or another. Once I find myself in a darkened room where comfortable chairs are lined up opposite video games systems. Once I find myself in a pet shop, and the pet shop owners ask me if I know a vet that specialises in exotic animals. I had come to them looking for that. Once I find myself at the Gap and they are talking about the intrusive VR ads that make them worry about losing business. Once I go looking for my iPod and the girl knocks me to the ground and I wish that I had time for her. I bite her soft throat and touch her hot skin and tell her we will dally another time. Once I find myself in the hotel's empty hall and the only sound is the squeaking of bed springs. Once I find myself talking to a janitor about the details of payment, or tipping? at the hotel gym.
At every landing of the stairs I have to wait as a gaggle of anonymous/familiar Korean kids pours into the stairwell, dressed in coordinated clothes. On each floor the colour theme is different. Eventually I realise that they are one of those VR ads.
Finally I rush up the stairs to fetch one last thing. The stores are all closing and empty. I remember Homer Simpson's House of Dancing (it's a club, not a studio or costume shop) and some place that purports it used to be a casino before becoming a burger place.
Even in my dream I do not believe it.
Then I woke up.
