it's funny, i've heard that Psalm a hundred times, quoted it just about as much, but somehow reading it this morning in the quiet of the rain and the warmth of my bed, it impacted me more than ever before.
REST.
PEACE.
TRUST.
this is my mantra for this year. fuck confusion.
right now, i'm confident of little, uncertain of much.
but what i'm confident of, i'm certain.
and that is enough.
i wrap my hands around the cup, however small it might have become, watch the living water spill over, catching drops of clarity in my hands.
