alright already!
event? what the heck does that mean?
hello, LJ world! it's been awhile. i'm fianlyl updating thanks to amanda's bullying. (you big meaniehead!) anyway, it's been a looooooong time since i've updated, so i really have no idea of where to start.
a lot has happened. a lot internally, that is. dealt with some rather tough issues, and they almost pulled me under. but thanks be to my God, my family and my friends. to those friends reading this--i didn't mean to get reclusive or anti-social, my apologies. i just didn't want to burden anyone.
life is alright. still has it's issues, but hey, that's life. so "es todo bueno." it's a new year, a new semester. a theatre semester for me, finally. last semester was a pscyhoglogy semester. this one is theatre. i'm excited. it's been waaay too long since i've spent time studying something i love so much. tech theatre will be a challenge, but one i'm determined to beat. it's not the whole putting stuff together that i don't get, it's just remembering the wood types and all that jazz.
i'm taking spanish again, and loving it. it's a language that comes very easy to me. my mouth likes it, it rolls pretty easily off my tongue. which is nice. plus i think spanish is sexy. but that's beside the point.
i'm also taking philosophy. i like my instructor, i just hope the class itself gets more interesting. i want to get into the really controversial guys. we just finished Descartes, and will start Hobbes (inspiration for Waterson's character Hobbes!) tomorrow. i wonder if Dr. Carr will mention the cartoon...
anyway. i kind of don't know where to start after not writing in so long. some prompts might be nice. *nudge nudge*
so, i should go now, and get ready for class.
