birthday? who had a birthday? not me...
all right, all right. i'm 24. i admit it.
my birthday was super nice, though. emily made me a cheesecake which tasted awesome and i got to see death cab for cutie for free. free, i tells ya! i got some really cool presents: a batman storage box, hot tamales, a bonn university shirt, a book about cats, a fish poster, and more. i also went to an aquarium which was not the best aquarium but a shark almost touched me on the nose. i'm not even kidding. they had these small dogfish sharks and sting rays in a tank and you could peer over the edge at them. because there were so many people in the room, they kept poking their noses out of the water (i have about a million pictures and tiny videos of this, too, in case you want to see them. i'll update that blog thing later). one time, i was leaning over the edge and this shark came almost halfway out of the water and i swear to god that if i hadn't breathed and scared him away, he would have touched me. damn, breathing! always gets in the way! anyway, i got a little sad at the end of my birthday because i can't believe i'm 24 and i'm a giant idiot. but you know, whatever.
i'll be home in about a month. yikes.
