Am I qualified to offer my insights on the nature of humanity and existence? This though has quite often stopped me from thinking too much into the topics, but just the other moment I was hit with the most amazing thought-I am in fact qualified since I am human. Philosophers will be screaming at that last statement, but it occurs to me that one doesn't need to have their mind swimming with phrases like "logical fallacy" or "existentialism" to fully grasp the questions we ask ourselves when we think no one is looking.
Do I need a degree? Heck no. Nobody does and if you want to cloak your observations in pretentious gibberish hang out in coffeehouses and write long books that only people with no life read... well then go ahead. I'll just be the one laughing at you from across the street. My point is this; if you want to think about life and existence, do so. Don't wait for some dumbass who lived a thousand years ago to tell you what it all means, figure it out for yourself because thats the only way you're going to get it. I hate the institution of Philosophy and I hate how stuffy and self-important it is. How its members act as if only they can understand the nature of life. Hell, maybe everyone's already figured all this out and I'm saying what everyone already knows. I don't really care; I just figured it out and I like it.
