In Soviet Russia, You Come to Russia [Complete]

Dec 15, 2008 19:07

Characters: Russia and Lithuania.
Content: The usual obligatory intro post that fills up with awkwardness.
Where: Halls of the Living Compound, just outside his room (107).
When: Early afternoon
Warnings: It's Russia. But other than that, none.

At first Russia had thought he was dreaming, when he had woken up in a bed that wasn't his own, read a card that was telling him he'd be a star on a TV show and had walked out of the room to find himself staring in wonder at the most bluest ocean he had ever seen. A tropical paradise just outside!

But after standing there for a while and getting increasingly more warmer by the second, the novelty had worn off at some point and it all started feeling a bit realer. Everything he touched was just too real for it to be a dream. But that meant someone really had taken him from his freezing home and dumped him on an island without his consent.

It was nice they actually invited him somewhere for once but they could at least have asked him first before dumping him without notice. As it was, nice weather or not, Russia wasn't amused. Though not exactly angry either, it was mostly bewilderment he was feeling. The sudden change of climate and scenery left him disorientated. It was like he had stepped right into a sci-fi movie of some sort. Some cheesy Hollywood movie and he wanted out.

His people needed him and as much as he would've liked a vacation to a tropical island, he just didn't have the time for it and especially not when it was for some reality TV show. He needed to find a way back. Still, he found himself having a hard time tearing his eyes away from the surrealistic scenery before him.
