PePe of a little thing I used to do. Went through a stretch where I started using the bots and skins that came with the game in Unreal Tournament...
...as I once, mildly obsessively, switched them all with custom skins and models.
When I went back with the defaults I named them for various people on my friendslist at the time. The point of which is that at the time
PePe's account was paintokill and I still have a bot running around with that name. Given that I'm not goig to have
Laura in my life for the forseeable future but can't quite bring myself to let her go entirely, not the wash my hands of a person kinda guy, I thought I'd check if I can find a spare slot in the 192 bot slots I've got, mutator called Xbots gives me the usage of more bots than the game's standard allows for, and make one based off her actual account name: agentstila.
It might be nice to have an 'Agent Stila' running around in the game. Although, if it goes anyway like it did with the other, odds are she's going to wind up shooting me a lot. Can't tell you the number of times PaintoKill popped up out of nowhere and blew my head off!
12:23 AM 9/10/09 · While I said I was going to do it, actually getting to it took longer than I thought. Seriously questioned whether or not I even should. Eventually I got to it and it took less than a few hours work...
...just a slight adjustment of the hue, for the pink trim, without compromising the team colors overly much.
Things about
Laura that are really key is a love of pink and an almost obsessive compulsion for anything involving Hello Kitty.
Rather than just go with the default settings for a bots skill, I customized this bot based on her. Having an almost fetish like lust for the Jurassic Park series, I let her play my version of UT against actual dinosaurs; I've got a mutator. She handled moving around pretty much okay but her weapon skills seriously lacked. Pretty much the moment she saw a dino she'd lock up and it would run up and bite her to death.
This was explained by a better familiarity with game systems than computer games. Different controls.
Laura is more accustomed to the Lara Croft games.
