(no subject)
So, apparently I have not posted in 9 weeks. That's not surprising.
School is going well. I am enjoying this year a million times more than last year. Though, I really miss having an art, music, and Spanish teacher. I did not receive a raise last year, because our budget got cut severely (thanks Gov. Doyle). The fore-mentioned positions were cut also. In turn, I now instruct 2 more hours a day, for the same pay. So, essentially, it was a pay cut for me.
I'm really digging my literacy instruction this year. I've fallen in with "The Sisters" cult. Yikes! I really am super excited to be implementing their reading strategies though. My students are becoming such successful readers and writers this year. I'm so proud! =P
Roman is 2 now! It's awesome. We're going trick-or-treating today. He picked a Darth Vader costume. Too cute!
I'm hoping to go to a co-workers party tonight. I love my co-workers. Makes me feel like I'm back at WW again (with less WoW of course.)
I'm going to go join my son watching The Sandlot. Happy Halloween!
