I took Roman up to the school play ground this afternoon; he loves it. While we were there, the daycare I used to work for arrived with a whole slew of children. It was so strange being around all of those kids I once worked with. A few of them actually remembered me, but most were too young. It was still pretty neat. Roman had a blast watching all of the big kids play. He kept trying to steal their soccer ball =P
Last weekend, we all took Roman, Noah, and Hannah Trick-or-Treating. Roman was Mike Wazowski from Monsters, Inc., Noah was a spider, and Hannah was Wednesday Adams. It was cold. Really cold. And Roman could not move. He didn't like it. We've already eaten most of his candy. He loves Nerds. =P
This week at school was a little stressful. We had parent-teacher conferences yesterday and today. Wednesday night I took detailed notes about everything I wanted to discuss about each student during conferences. By the time I was getting ready, my notebook disappeared. I looked high and low, and it's just gone. All that work for nothing =P I think a student may have taken it by mistake. Oh well. Good thing I didn't write anything like, "Your child is a little bastard" or something. =P
And, conferences with translators are a new experience for me. I had to have several Hmong translations, several Spanish translations, and I could've used a translator for the Indian family. I don't think they had a clue what I was saying. =P
Last weekend we went to 2 Halloween parties. Roger's party was interesting for 2 reasons. #1. I was the only girl wearing pants. #2. You couldn't turn without running into a pair of boobs. Ha. I had a girl come up to me and tell me, "I was a crayon for Halloween when I was 7, only I was yellow." Haha. I love it. Steve and Stacy's party was really fun. I made a delicious taco dip and it was eaten quite promptly. I love taco dip. I will find ANY reason to make it. Yum. There weren't as many boobs at this party. We did get to sit in the hot tub though! =)
I'm glad it's the weekend. I love weekends; even ones that Anthony works on.
I'm not ready for winter yet. Can't I keep fall a little longer???
