Ohayoo! =)

I guess I'm not taking a side either way... rather, I just like to know what's in the bible, so I can understand where people's beliefs stem from.
But, like you said, most people are probably just reiterating what their pastor or church has said, instead of themselves really taking a look at where those beliefs stem from. That's their choice though.
Also, like you said, its more than likely that you're not going to change people's ideas; especially on something as controversial (for lack of a better word) as faith. Faith in something that can not be proved right or wrong.
I generally wont argue with someone regarding this, anyway... because I guess I don't feel it's a huge deal what someone believes in, because it doesn't affect me anyway. Though, if someone tries to use their beliefs to degrade me, well.. that's a different story.
Anyway, the only reason I even mentioned something about this in the first place was because on Sunday there was a "documentary" on National Geographic or Discovery or something about the lost tomb of jesus, and how these movie producers believe that they've found it. They had some shoddy scientific "evidence" to back up their conclusion, but it was definitely incomplete, and more than a little biased. It was an interesting watch anyway. =)
