wow. so i find myself a little sadder after every csi new york episode. they really know how to hit you hard, lol. none of the other csi shows are like that.
and a big WAHOO for kellie being voted off american idol. i feel great about that.
school is winding down now. i have about a week's worth of math homework that i have to do tonight, cause we've been learning logarithms and the homework has been hard. so i only do a few examples and then stop. which isn't good. and i was up until 3AM last night writing my first draft of my frankenstein research paper. i'm always so bad at picking a focus. i had a meeting today with my professor, but he didn't really help me. so i'm still all over the place.
we used skype in my internet studies class today. in case you don't know what skype is, its an internet phone that you can use to call anyone in the world. emily uses it to call her sister in france, and its pretty great. its especially fun when you get weirdos to talk to. the guys who sit in the back of my class are pretty freaking funny. except whenever someone says something and we turn around to look, we never know who's talking because the computer is in front of their face.
tomorrow i'm going into town to by emily a birthday present, even though i don't really want to. and its kind of an excuse for me to go shopping. and then friday i'm getting the hell out of here.
so this weekend is may weekend, the last big party weekend before morgue hours start next saturday. and usually they have beer tents in the quad, and you're allowed to walk around with open containers and shit, but this year they're cutting down a lot. they keep saying its going to be like any other weekend, but now we know that's clearly not the case. they have security guards at the shuttle stop and at all entrances to the school, checking cars when they drive in and checking bags when kids get off the shuttles from town. then they have the dorm road blocked off. and they have people at the liquor stores watching to see who's buying, and calling the security when qu students come in. so emily and all her friends are brainstorming about how they're going to get alcohol on campus this weekend. and i'm laughing my ass off, cause i won't be here and they don't know it. hee hee.
