So long, shitty Thursday
We were burglarized Thurs. morning. I was out of the house for 50 minutes. They made off with a bunch of stuff, including all our cameras and gear, and both laptops.
But I'm only upset about the the heirloom jewelery. My parents' and grandparents' wedding rings, and a few other pieces from my mom and grandmothers. Not worth much money except to collectors. Priceless to me. I have (had) so few mementos .... and now... . I know it's just stuff, but I'm truly heartbroken.
