“So… what are we going to do at here?” James asked curiously.
Cale was nothing but smirked widely to James, getting out from his car, with James do the same.
He’s breathing in the fresh air, glance right back to the confused boy, “I told you. We are going to have some fun today.”
“But,” James jaws drop a little, “An amusement park? Really?” James huffed a little as he crossed his arms, “You really thought that- Candy!”
As soon as he saw the colorful cotton candy right in front of him, James was running a little toward the booth.
It was his favorite snack, and screwed it wherever he’s at the moment.
“Oh my gosh,” James slowly circling the booth, “Which color should I pick?”
Coming up closely was Cale throwing his head back laughing.
Who would get excited over a cotton candy?
Apparently, James does.
As he watched James from the side, he yelled a little louder tried to fight the noise that coming from the theme park.
“It’s all taste about the same, don’t you think?”
To his surprise, James was shaking his head vigorously, “Not at all. Each color should taste differently. That’s why they put different color on the candy.”
Cale looked over to the booth keeper but he just shrugged it back to Cale.
Which only make Cale laughed some more.

Back to his office, Mark was nothing but sighed tiredly.
He walked slowly back to his desk, plumped his back to the chair.
Ever since Sarah has gone from her duty, he felt lost on his own.
Plus, he had to take over her job too.
There were tons of files pile up on the desk but there was nothing but a soft sighed from him.
Maybe it’s time to find a new partner.
Maybe.

“Should we go find some ice cream?” Cale asked as they both walked by the beach.
There were fresh airs that coming from the sea, the view of almost sunset from the theme park.
It’s almost surreal.
Rubbing his temple tiredly, James sighed, “I don’t know Cale. I don’t feel well.”
“Wait, are you sick?”
“No,” James shot him a glare, “It was your entire fault. How could you do that to me?”
“Do what?” Cale looked at James curiously.
“You,” James bite his tongue, “You just came with your car and bump me hard. How could you.”
James hissed when he saw Cale was nothing but laughing.
“It’s not funny. I could be hurt.”
Wrapping his arms around James, Cale was still laughing as he brought James closer, “It is. Now I understand why you’re being mad at me.”
His eyes caught an ice cream stall not too far from them.
“Come on you spoil sport.”
He dragged James along with him, running to get their ice cream.

“Come on in.”
His smile grew bigger when he saw the guy in front of him.
How could he not?
“Darren,” Mark beamed happily.
“Hey man,” Darren smiled grew bigger, letting himself to be brought into a hug by Mark.
After they broke their hug, they both sat to the nearest couch.
“I can’t believe this,” Mark tried to catch his breathe again, “What are you doing here?”
“Don’t you need someone to help you out now?” Darren chuckled sheepishly.
He heard from his officer that Mark was in trouble.
Wasting no time, he asked whether he could be transfer to another department.
Surprisingly, he got positive feedback from his officer.
“I do,” Mark added, “But I wasn’t expecting you.”
“Well here I am now. So what are we looking for at this moment?”
Mark smiled some more to see his friend so excited with his new job.
They have been worked together for as long as he knew.
It’s should be easy from now.

There’s a soft sighed coming from James when he was enjoying his ice cream.
And Cale was noticed rather quickly.
“What’s wrong?” Cale asked worriedly.
His forehead wrinkle in no time.
“Nothing,” James flashed his smile to the man next to him, making him smiled back instantly, “I just feel so relax. The beach is just so breathe taking.”
James added, “It’s like you knew what’s inside my head to make me calm.”
“To be honest,” A soft chuckled coming from Cale when James stared at him, “I also like beach a lot. I always go here when I was stressed out.”
“You? Stressed?” James huffed lightly, “You’re some rich kid. Not to mention, you got all these ladies who want you for themselves. Being stressed out is just not an option for you.”
“James, you know I don’t want them,” Cale sighed quietly, “And am not rich. My dad is.”
Cale sighed silently when James was shrugged to him.
He was used to it. Everyone just thought being rich is an easy life.
He shifted his attention to the ocean in front of him, letting it in, “My dad said last night was a success. He gave me all this praises when I told him I’m not deserves it and yet he felt like I do.”
“Honestly,” Cale glanced to James as a small smiled form on his lips, “If it wasn’t of you, the party would have been a disaster.”
Cale stared at James when James chuckled.
It’s weird.
“I’m siding on your dad this time around,” James chuckled making Cale frowned, “Believe me, you are deserves to get all those praises. I’m just here following your instruction.”
“Without them, I would be hopeless,” James added, smiling to Cale.
Cale took his ice cream as he continued, “That’s why I want you to come back and work with me.”
He can feel his body tensed when James just sighed.
James really do make it hard, even he meant with his word.
“Can you give me some times to think about it?” James asked.
Not that he didn’t want to.
Cale was practically begging for him to work again and again.
He really felt restless after the incident.
What if something like that happened again?
“Okay,” Cale nodded quietly. He knew he can’t pushed James anymore, “Just not too long.”
James was nothing but smiled to Cale.
It’s a lot to take in at the moment.
Maybe he will find the answer when he reached his house later.
“James,” Cale cut the silent when James was being silent, “You haven’t told me why you’re not dating anyone.”
“Oh wow,” James barked his laughed out, “Now I should tell you about my love life?”
“What I mean is,” Cale pipped up, “I can help you out if you need some boost.”
“Well,” James smiled a little, “I do like this one guy for a little while.”
“Guy?” Cale asked curiously, “Guy as in men?”
James nodded his head, “Yes.”
He glanced to see Cale when he felt something was not right.
And he did felt it when Cale was staring at him blankly.
“I’m sorry,” James sighed, “I didn’t mean to come out at you like this.”
“No, don’t worry about it,” Cale shook his head lightly.
He wasn’t expecting that James would have crushes on guy.
James sighed when he saw Cale was frowning, “You know what. I think I should go. Sorry for making you feel uncomfortable.”
“Wait,” Cale gripped onto James shoulder tried to stop him, “You didn’t do anything wrong. I ask for it in the first place.”
“But you think I was weird.”
“I would prefer with the term there’s a lot to take in,” Cale blurted out, “But I would never think of you as weird.”
“I really should shut my mouth,” James sighed apologetically.
He felt like he wanted to hide under his bed and not coming back for the rest of his life.
“Oh come on James,” Cale smiled when he saw the frown on James, “You haven’t finish with your story.”
“Do I have to?” James asked curiously.
He can’t help but sighed when Cale was smiling and nodded, “Taylor Swift did write a song called If This Was A Movie.”
“Taylor wrote that?” Cale asked curiously.
James nodded, “So this is not a movie which I can agree on. There’s no way we both can be an item.”
“Well,” Cale squeezed on his shoulder, making James shredded a little with the touch, “I’ll be here if you need some boost to get him.”
James felt his cheeks blushed when he met Cale hazel eyes.
If only Cale knew the guy that he was talking about just now was him.
