A/N : This is James part, this one is Cale part, and this is the duet part. The song was Pretending.
“Will you come and see me practice today?” Cale was wearing his jeans as he spoke to James who currently busy feeding Noah breakfast.
James put down the bowl on the nightstand and walked over to Cale grinned happily, “Maybe…after I take Noah walking around the park for a while.”
Cale pulled James by his belt, making his man stumbled closer to him, “I’ll be waiting for you to come then.”
James put his both hand on the back of Cale neck brought Cale down to him and left a soft kiss on his lips, “Hope you’ll have fun practicing today.”
Cale softly whispered to James before he straightens his body, “I’m more look forward to ravish you at the backstage today.”
James giggled and pushed Cale away from him, “Off to go you big dork. Me and Noah will see you later, okay?”
Cale left another chaste kiss on James lips before he picked his guitar and went for his practice.
James looked over at Noah and found his boy giggled happily.
“Your dad being a good boy today, isn’t he?” James smiled warmly and bent down to pick Noah up.
Noah makes that cute baby voice whenever James asked something to him, as if he’s agreeing with what his papa asked him.

“Have you met him?” A soft voice echoed through Kate phone.
“Yes and I get to hug him, Katy,” Kate squealed over her phone about how excited it was.
“Good. It should be easier to make him fall in love with you again,” Katy blurted out her opinion.
Kate sighed, “Not that easy. Cale still believe that he loves James.”
Katy chuckled, “Not for too long. Take a look at the article that I sent to your mail.”
Kate quickly turned her laptop on and opened the link that she received from Katy.
Her mouth slightly opened when she read the big title of the article.
“They can’t be serious right? Jensen Ackles is straight. He’s married to a girl,” Kate continued reading the article.
Katy smirked, “He was but who cares. He was holding James hand with a little boy on James arm. Did you know who that boy was?”
Kate shrugged, “I don’t know. Maybe he's Jensen son.”
“Jensen will be the next guy in James life. Just be there for Cale when James finally leaves him for Jensen.” Katy remarked.
Kate nodded her head agreeing with the plan. She can do that.
All she needed was a little patient and maybe some brilliant strategy to break Cale and James apart.

Since the weather was nice that morning, James decided to take a little stroll at Central Park before he and Noah met Cale that afternoon.
He suddenly stopped in the middle of his tracked when he saw the guy who’s not so strange to him, standing at the bridge alone.
He quietly walked over to him and put Noah in front of him, “What are you doing here? Aren’t you supposes do your workout or something?”
Jensen startled when he heard James voice beside him.
He glanced over to him and smiled, “I'm planning to.”
James nodded his head, “I’m planning to visit Cale this afternoon. You can tag along with me and Noah if you want to.”
Jensen grinned, “As long as I can walk away from that place safely.”
James chuckled, “Nothing bad will happen to you. I promise.”
“Good to know James,” Jensen winked to him and stared into James eyes, which makes James noticed Jensen eyes for the first time.
He looked away from Jensen when he felt his cheeks burning.
Jensen held out his hand for James to take like yesterday, which makes James stared at him weirdly.
Seeing James looked at him motionless, Jensen grabbed his hand while his other hand grabbed Noah, making Noah in his arms instead of James arms.
Noah startled when he turned around and saw it’s not his papa who hold him.
He's crying out loud making James quickly grabbed Noah from Jensen arms.
“Your kid hates me, James,” Jensen grinned, watching James tried to make Noah stopped crying.
James tried to let go Jensen hand but Jensen kept tighten his hold; making James didn’t have any choice other than using one hand to calm Noah.
James looked over at Jensen,his eyes met with Jensen hazel eyes, “He’s not used being holds by someone outside of his family member. Don’t take it too personally.”
Jensen shook his head lightly, “No I won’t.”
After they’re sure Noah stopped crying, Jensen tugged James with him to the ice cream stall that he saw just now.
“Do you love ice cream James?” Jensen grinned to his new friend as they walked hand in hand with each other.

The practice was going great that day. Everything was going just the way the band wanted and everyone who involved in the tour was giving cooperation to make sure the show tonight will be a success.
Kate was doing surprised visit to the backstage when the band was taking some time to rest.
She was holding a box with her, a surprised gift for her loves one.
“Cale!” Kate was yelling giddily when she saw her ex sitting on the stage tuning his guitar.
Cale turned his head and found Kate waving her hand excitedly, “Hey you. Come on here.”
Kate quickly strode to where Cale was and sat beside him.
She was so excited because she got the chance to spend a little time with him only.
No James or Kris or other Kris Allen band mate to interrpted them.
Cale grinned, “What are you doing here?”
Kate chuckled and raised her eyebrows a little bit, “To visit you of course. Look what I bring for you.”
Kate opened the box, making Cale eyes wide for a second.
“Cupcakes,” Cale chuckled.
Kate held out one of the cake from the box and gave it to Cale, “I hope it’s the right time for cupcake.”

James glanced to his watch and surprised to know it’s already afternoon.
Who knew spending time with Jensen can make the time went away that fast?
“I better go visit Cale now. Will you come with me?” James grinned to Jensen as they finished off their ice cream on their hand.
Jensen nodded his head and smiled, “Let’s go. I never visit any concert backstage before.”
“It’s not that interesting actually,” James chuckled when he saw Jensen excited face.

Kate and Cale was laughing together, sharing their latest story in their life which makes Kate know that Cale is already having a kid with James.
She taken aback with the news but she managed to pretend as if the news didn’t hurt her feeling.
She saw her chances coming when she noticed the cream that left on Cale lips.
She reached out her hand and softly caressing the cream, “Hey... you got something on your lips.”
Cale startled with Kate sudden action but he didn’t see any harm with letting her hand touched his mouth.
They both stared at each other which led Kate do the next thing.
She landed her lips on Cale to clean up the cream.
Cale totally shocked with the kiss.
He rooted there, tried to think what he should do with her.
He didn't got enough time to think because he felt someone was pushing them apart, making both of them stumbled away from each other.
He looked up and been embraced with James pissed off face.
James didn’t say anything when he faces to face with Kate.
He gave his best slapped to Kate and literally heard Kate yelped in pain.
He turned around and Cale already on his feet.
“James, I swear it has nothing to do with me,” Cale raised his both hand tried to calm James.
James stood in front of Cale tried to believe him. He tried hardest to believe his word but he found it’s hard to do.
He slapped Cale face and strode away from there.
“James!”
Cale was almost on his feet to catch James but his stopprf when he saw the guy from last night chasing his man from behind.
He looked over at Kate who still holding her cheeks, literally ignored her and walked away from there alone.
James was right all along about Kate and he didn't listened to him…again.

Jensen found James and Noah sitting quietly at Madison Square Park which located not too far from the practice place.
He surprised to see James didn’t cried this time, which makes him in a delicate situation.
He knew James was angry with the whole thing and yet there he sat with his son gazing the view in front of him like nothing bad happen to them.
“You know, maybe your husband didn’t mean for that to happen,” Jensen remarked when he sat silently next to James.
James huffed, “There’s nothing you can say to make me forgive him that easily.”
“I’m here for you. You can lean on me anytime you want,” Jensen shrugged his shoulder lightly.
James glanced to his side and quietly landed his head on Jensen shoulder, “Thank you.”
Jensen wrapped his arms around James shoulder with his head on top of James.
His mind tried to come up with any plan to solve James problem with his husband.

The show will start in a few hours more and Cale already planned to bail on it.
He’s mad and angry and literally can’t do anything right.
He spent all his time throwing stuffs whenever something not right happened to him.
Kris tried to find out the reason why Cale was so mad that night but Cale refused to talk about it.
He said he didn’t need anyone to step their foot in his problem.
That’s what he told everyone before Jensen manned up and dragged Cale to the corner to knock some senses into his brain.
“Well… well… well, look who’s here,” Cale sarcastically blurted his word when he saw Jensen standing in front of him.
Jensen huffed, “James mad with you although you don’t want to admit you’re in fault too when that kiss happen.”
“Well, thank you for pointing out that little nugget of wisdom, intruder,” Cale remarked sarcastically.
Jensen let out his deep sighed, “Will you stop with your stupid attitude?”
“I will if you stop chasing James butt like he’s belong to you,” Cale crossed his arms around his chest.
Jensen knew it’s was pointless to keep arguing with a pissed off Cale.
He turned around and walked to the exit door with one last word, “You better prepare a song tonight or you will lose James forever.”

“Jensen, will you stop? How many times do I have to say this to you. I don’t want to see Cale face forever,” James sighed.
He really didn’t want to see Cale but Jensen dragged him to the concert.
“I don’t want you to regret it later on James. We both know you in love with your husband. You can deny all you want but at the end of the night, it’s him that you want to spend your life with. I’ve been there once remember?” Jensen silently let out his sighed.
He definitely didn’t know James can be this stubborn at times.
They were just in time because Kris already took some break during the show which left an opened slot for interlude performance.
James saw Cale already prepared with the band and the mic getting ready to sing.
He didn’t know that he also needed to sing the song with him.
Jensen took Noah from James arms and pushed James to the stage.
James stumbled to the stage, being stared by millions of Kris fan who came to see the show.
James felt nervous and almost barfed on the stage.
He turned around to Jensen but Jensen motioned his head to keep walking to Cale.
Cale held out one of the mic for James and glanced at his band mate to start the song.

Cale draped his arms around James's shoulder with his eyes stared deeply into James.
He’s not sure how James feel right now but he followed his instinct.
Cale leant down and softly kissed James as if there’s nobody around them.
The hate that James felt toward Cale was suddenly disappeared from his heart when he felt Cale lips on him and unconsciously replied the kiss.
The audience were erupted their kiss with loud cheers and clapped their hand, making James and Cale shifted their eyes to them and blushed.
“I’m sorry for hurting you,” Cale whispered only for James to hear.
James shook his head lightly, “It’s not your fault. I’m sorry for slapping your face though.”
Cale chuckled lightly, “That’s kind of hurt actually.”
Jensen watched at both of them with smiled on his face.
He did something good tonight with stopping James from repeating his own history in his marriage.
Little did he know, Kate was watching James and Cale from a far with jealousy.
Her plan to get back to Cale was completely destroyed because James has a new helper now.
