"Darren, where are we going?" Lauren, who was sitting right next to her boyfriend, asks nervously.

When Darren asked her for a date tonight, she just assumed that they would stop by at the nearest restaurant to catch some pizza or something, but wherever weird place they are at right now, it's totally not something she had in mind before she leave her house.

Stepping out from Darren's car, Lauren's eyes instantly become embraced with a large white house. But no, it's not just some normal house. It's a house like ones you usually hear in couples' dreams when they talk about their post-wedding home. It's a house that's surrounded with a crisp white picket fence that just makes it look wonderful.
Lauren can't help but think...why would Darren bring her here? And who exactly is the owner of this house, anyway? It can't be Darren's family's house because she has been there once before. It looks nothing like what she can see in front of her now.
"Darren," Lauren asks, rising her eyebrows and frowning a bit as she looks at her boyfriend, "where are we now, exactly?"
Darren comes around from his side of the car to Lauren's side, intertwining their hands together instantly, smiling warmly at her.
"Welcome to my little secret place. Well, actually, it's not that secret, considering a few others know about it, too." Darren laughs a bit and then looks down at his feet, trying to push away his apprehensiveness.
Lauren can't help but feel super confused right now. Darren owns this wonderful house? This big white house with a picket fence?
"This is your house? How?" Lauren carefully asks him, not wanting her question to be upsetting her boyfriend.
"You already know I have my own gigs every now and then. So, one day I got to thinking...why don't I just invest the money I get from them into something good? After a little talking with my parents, they agreed with it and they paid the down payment for me. From now on, the rent from this house is going to be paid using my own money I earn myself," Darren explains, turning his attention back to Lauren.
"Wow Darren...I-I'm completely stunned right now." Lauren shakes her head lightly, her brain desperately trying to process all the information that she just got from him.
"Come on. It's my house. Nobody is going to open the door if we're still standing here."
Lauren chuckles. "Fine...I hope this house at least has something to eat or cook. I'm starving."

As soon as the door been opened by Darren, Lauren can hear a faint humming voice coming from the house.

Lauren can't believe what right in front of her right now.
A nicely decorate white table with pink candle inside a glass flunk around the table.

Smiling warmly to Lauren, Darren take one of the glass and pour the wine in it. Then, he take another glass and do the same thing.
He hands one of the glass to Lauren before he join her in the table again.
Quickly, Lauren took a sip of the wine and let a loud satisfy sigh from her mouth.
Darren can't help but to laugh a little, making Lauren cheeks turn into rose red, embarrass for acting like that in front of her boyfriend.

Darren shrugs, "Well, I can cook simple things. Just enough for me not to starve to death."
He grinning to Lauren, showing his white teeth, "Why don't you go take a shower while I go prepare the table?"
Leaving a soft chaste kiss on Darren lips, Lauren nods her head and mumbles "Thank you" to him.
Walking toward the wardrobe, Lauren opens to pick up one of the towel that lay on the wardrobe rack.
That's when she notice a small red velvet box, hidden in the corner of the rack.
Curiosity caught the best of her, so she pick up the box to look what's inside.
The box reveals a silver ring with a green ruby on top of it.
Picking up the ring, she carefully analyze it.
The moment she looks at the ring, there's 3 words clearly visible on the back of the ring, revealing the owner of the ring ... Lauren Criss Colfer.
She can't believe Darren already buy a ring for her, considering they are still in high school and all.
"Lauren..." Darren voices echoes through the hallway.
"Yes?" Lauren quickly put the ring back into the box and place the velvet box back to the original spot.
Quickly shedding her happy tears, Lauren tries to even her breathe again.
Darren poking his head through the bedroom door, grinning to Lauren, "I just wanna say I already prepare the table. You still haven't shower yet?"
Lauren tries to cover her face, slightly shakes her head, "No..not yet. Give me a second okay?"
Darren notices her red eyes. He walks up to Lauren, pulling her into his hugs making Lauren sobs a little.
Darren softly brush her hair tries to calm her down.
He doesn't know what happen to his girlfriend, but he hopes it's not something bad.
Looking at her face, he shed the tears that running down on her cheeks, smile warmly to her, "Is everything okay? Do you need any help in the shower?"
Lauren head shot up, looking straight into Darren eyes.
She playfully slap on his chest, "No...you pervert. Why would I need you when I'm in the shower?"
Darren smirks, "Who knows? Maybe you want what happen last night happen again."
Lauren gasp in shock hearing the answer. She can feel her cheeks burn with embarrassment.
"Why don't you let me go take the shower and you can wait for me at the table?"
Darren shakes his head, "Nuh... I will waiting for you naked in our bed. How's that sound?"
Lauren push her boyfriend away from her and sticks her tongue out, making Darren giggles looking at her before she stormed into the bathroom.
