strangers, friends and starbucks.

The week was termed as the arts week. I had clean forgotten to take photos with the love of my life (hui) after the INCREDIBLE The Adventures of the Mad China Man (Dick Lee's life story!) but I did get myself a Dick Lee CD which has been completely amazing to listen to, especially right before I turn into bed. It's incredibly soothing. But the fellowship with Hui was the highlight of the entire night. God is great, and God knows what's best for us.

Yingyuan, Weijie and I caught Internal with 2 strangers turned acquaintiances - amazing that the 5 of us started talking so spontaneously for a good 30 minutes after Internal ended. I was paired up with a random male stranger who chose to swop for me and the experience was completely surreal. Ontroerend Goed are masters of deception I swear - drawing you into an imaginary world which blurs the line between fantasy and reality. And the next few days are spent wondering how you portrayed yourself, and if it was even real at all (it isn't, but you just can't help but think..)

And of course, there was the starbucks that I sneaked in after church today. AND I bought myself the Charlie Lim EP and I swear it is the most amazing local act I have heard in a long while. Please please give this guy a chance and get yourself the EP at any starbucks outlet.

In other personal news - I've been wondering why I've been getting a considerable amount of calls for job openings. It's incredible because I wish these were calls for house viewings instead (and I am happy with Lucas!). So today, when we sang 'give me the patience of unanswered prayer' in one of our hymns - I stopped and realized - all belongs to God, and God will give a reply at the best time. So wait Weishan, wait. Wait for it.
