20 icons - The Fall (movie, 2006)

Adventures in Wonderland was this rounds theme over at 20inspirations (Ch 30)! It was all about exploring the unexpected, experimenting and making 'unusual' icons, without creating a post which is most likely to win the I-don't-want-to-look-at-this-post-one-year-from-now-award

Your set is absolutely gorgeous, I like the idea that you posted them in order of creation and that your progress within this set is visible. I personally think the first ones are pretty weird, too, and I really like that mosaic effect on the third one. Also, I love the idea for the second one, it's pretty awesome how you worked the screencap into that painting. 4 is pretty gorgeous, too, because you need some time to look at it to make out what's going on around the face. 7 is absolutely beautiful - I love the vibrant colours and the duplication (?). The subtle animation in 8 is great, I didn't even notice it at first, but I think it works very nicely and really matches the theme of this round. 12-14 are beyond awesome - I really love the animation and colours in 12, the heavy texture use and overall composition, colours and crop in 13, 14 is absolutely stunning and I love the smudged look of the background. 17 is absolutely killer, so is 19 - gosh, I love those two. And 20 is beautifully strange as well.

This is such a great set - now I really need to watch that film! :D

Yeah, I love receiving such comments, too, so I think it's just fair to show others some appreciation, especially when their icons are as gorgeous as yours!
I ordered the DVD yesterday! :D It should arrive tomorrow and then I hope to find some time to watch it next week. :)
