Sure thing! n.n Actually, I've had that part in Book1 underlined for years, but due to the fact that it was never addressed or answered, I had figured it was just part of the magic of Dumbledore - but noooooow! WELL! Fine, Jo! I'll exercise my brain!!!
Thanks for the links to the updates on the site. The new info about the cloak being important was quite interesting.
I am wondering now if Snape might have had the Cloak that night at Godric's Hollow and later returned the Cloak to Dumbledore. It seems like JKR might write a mirror situation in book 7 where, in a flashback, Snape might be wearing the Cloak and witnesses Lily's or James being murdered, which bookends nicely with Harry wearing the Cloak later on and seeing Dumbledore murdered by Snape.
Re: James' cloak. Someone else, besides Dumbledore needed to be invisible. It's just a matter of who. It's easy to think of Snape, but I'm not convinced. hm.
I'd like to be convinced. :) Snape seems to know Dumbledore had the cloak, but he was so angry about Dumbledore giving it to Harry that I'm not entirely sure that Snape got to use it much, if at all.

Now, about that Ron, er, I mean Dumbledore not needing a cloak.

And you're welcome for the graphic. I slapped it together to be sorta teaser-y.
