last supper
last night was a going away dinner for my dear friend Judith. i will miss her. she will be moving to vegas which is only 4 hours away... sigh, it will definitely give me and the girls reason to head out that way. anyway, it was a surprise dinner for her. there were some moments where i thought she had figured out our little secret. when i was at the gas station, she was washing my windows because she was bored and i thought she saw the her bouquet of flowers sitting in the trunk. when we were at barnes and nobles trying to kill time while cheri prepared things in the restaurant, jonathan had called and told her that he would see her soon. at that moment, i thought she figured it out. i quickly told her that he probably wanted to see her before she left. after all that, we were good to go. we arrived at the restaurant probably around 7:30 pm which was an hour later than expected. everyone showed up sporadically which was alright. there were friends from all over the place. it was nice. she was thrilled which was basically the goal of the night.
