LJ is for Emo
I have suspended my WoW subscription. It is due to expire at the end of the week. Since some will ask questions, I will elaborate:
1) I have had to take a closer look at my extraneous lifestyle expenses, and this is something that can be cut (see below).
2) It is difficult to afford the time commitment, even any time at all. Because I'm now working an average of 60 hours or more per week. And with the little time I have left, there are things I would like to accomplish.
3) Over the past few months, all I have been doing with the game (other than brief intervals of under-employed superfluous achievement getting) is future-proofing my characters. I mean acquiring badges, emblems, and daily jewelcrafting tokens that I haven't spent in a while, because I have nothing productive to do with them.
4) At the moment I have reached a personal pinnacle in the gameplay. Though I wouldn't mind doing so, I can't commit to a raiding group because of time constraints and an uncertain schedule (see above).
5) I've become disillusioned to the entire concept of RP, due to various reasons upon which it is not fair to expound at this time.
I will most likely return when my time and finances will afford it. Or Cataclysm, whichever is sooner. In the meantime, it's not you; it's me. This doesn't exclude me getting the nice, Horde tattoo I'm planning on either.
