This is Martin Pierron....I worked on the SL Pilot as a guest star as well as one of the crew members. Those that worked on it may rememeber me as the one that could turn his legs backwards.
ANYWAYS I have been contacted by my calling service (bascially an agent for extras) to help get 200 or so extras. The gig is simple. Its a promo (similar to commerical but differnt) for THE CARTOON NETWORK. It might be in connection with their new LIVE ACTION show, I'm not sure yet.
But here's the cool part.... its right here at home (well for most SL fans) in Anahiem!
It works AUGUST 1, which is a Weds. AND should only be for 5 hours OR LESS. They even estimate 3pm to 6pm. So more than likely an afternoon start. AND it pays 60 bucks. This is NON UNION, for anyone in the union (SAG/AFTRA) however, they said they are considering CASH AT WRAP...so you don't have to worry.
IF you live more close to the LA/Hollywood area, they are having buses avail, by production, to take you to the location and bring you back to Hollywood.
What we need are people that look like they are in high school...they must look 15-18. MUST LEGALLY BE 17 or older.
ALSO WE NEED TO KNOW BY JULY 27 at 5pm ASAP...sooner the better. You need to send your contact info (PHONE NUMBER, CELL prefered) AGE, a photo, and preferably what city you are in and if you will neeed to use the buses provided. A photo can be a snap shot, just make sure its one makes you look like your in High School, and that you will actually show up looking that way.
