Learning how to smile...
I've had a cracker of a couple of days. First off, yesterday I had the two teeth that I broke in August taken out, finally. And I must say, there's something really creepy about watching the dentist as they put stitches in your mouth *shudders*. My poor teeth apparently never recovered from the fight I had with the kneeboard, and the dentist was pushing them while they were still attached and they were more or less moving freely. Gross.
So I was numbed, literally up to my left eye, that felt kinda weird, and they took them out. And stitched me up. Apparently I have a wisdom tooth that's been stuck up in my gum because it had nowhere to come out, so the dentist is hoping that it'll come down and push all the others forward so that I won't need a plate.
And then some more awesome news, I didn't have enough cash to cover the dentist bill (even with my health insurance) and I asked to pay half then and half when I get my next paycheck, and the Centre manager said they would pay the balance for me. I was floored, and I'm so grateful. I almost cried. Not the best look.
As for today. Fun central. I drove in to Melbourne to meet a couple of people from the SP forums and had the best time. Really cheered me up (because I was in a bit of pain when I woke up this morning), so that was awesome. After lunch I got to catch up with another mate and we mucked round at Doncaster for a couple of hours.
I'm back at the parents now, and exhausted, but it was so worth it :)
