Have I mentioned that I'm afraid of creepy crawlies? This includes reptiles and the like. Why is this important you ask? Well I was at work in the Cafe this morning, and I'm minding my own business doing the dishes when all of a sudden a garden variety lizard runs across the floor in front of me. And it was quite large. Needless to say I screamed. And people wanted to know why. Umm, because there's a lizard. Inside. What the?
Anyway a little later I was wandering around, putting dishes away, when lone behold, out pops this lizard, having a bit of a relax in front of the grill. Again I scream, little bugger. Anyway after much protest from me about it being inside in the first place, it was relocated outside, biting my boss who was taking it outside. Thank goodness it's gone. As far as I'm concerned, the only place for garden lizards is in pieces courtesy of my cat.
That said, I have much admiration for the very large blue tongue lizard that lives under my house. We have a great relationship, I rarely see it, but when I do, he's just chilling in the sun. And even better, he keeps my house free of snakes :)
