Random Thoughts...
Wow. So it's been a while. I can't even remember the last time I posted on here. Had a busy few weeks. Have started playing soccer, so I'm training two nights a week and games will start in a couple of weeks. Still working at the Restaurant. Tonight we've got a band playing, so it should be a good night.
We've had a crapload of rain down here in the past week, with over 120mm falling in just over 24 hours. That was insane. And the wind. I could hear branches falling off the tree onto our roof and that was kinda scary. Then on Tuesday night in the midst of it all, the power went out for 6 or so hours and it was just a depressing night. Played Monopoly with the brother for a couple of hours, and the whole town was cut off when the only road in went under water, but thankfully the entrance was open and the water got out to sea fairly quickly, so we survived with minimal flood damage in town. I think a couple of boats were damaged in the wind and the swells in the lake, but the town got off fairly lightly.
Heading down to Melbourne next weekend, which I'm looking forward to, shall be fun, and when I get back to 'Coota I start my new job. Exciting.
