random creativity?
I was brainstorming with the kids about thier Halloween costumes. I think we have it pretty well under control. But as I will be taking them trick or treating I need something for myself as well. Never having been a full blown costume kinda girl this can be tricky. I want the kids to know I participate but don't want to humiliate myself should I run into someone I know. I like a good chuckle as well as the next guy but I have to beware of nicknames in the neighborhood. We rarely keep track of our neighbors by more than, You know the guy down the street with the leaf blower? Granted half the street has leaf blowers but we still all know who you are refering to.
Last year I wore six hawiian lays and when questioned replied "I'm a Bahama Mama." See? Little preparation, easily removed should the situation warrant and clever when appropriate.
At a christmas church bazzar I picked up something that I swore I was going to use as a Halloween costume. Almost an entire year later I still have not come up with a way to use it.
