one more true story
Ok I just remembered to post this otherwise there would not be three posts for one day . . .
What was it Thursday, that we had the big big game? Vang and I were in bed watching the 10 o'clock news. The newscaster interrupts between stories to say the Cards need two more outs to win. Vang says "we gotta stay awake and watch the news to see if they win!" Everybody says the same thing right here when I tell this story. "Right. Stay up and watch the news and see if they win. Don't actually flip to THE GAME and see if they win. No." Come on, you know you were thinking it. Anyway a few minutes later the newscaster oes it again. One more out and the Cards have wone the series. Then he comes on and says very calmly "The Cards Have Won The Game!" and shakes hands with all the other newscasters. Vangs says "We have to call your Daddy!" I said "I am sure my Dad is in a very crowded bar slapping backs and hugging strangers fully aware they just won the game." Vangs says "Probably. But does he know Big Macs are a dollar tommorrow?" The REAL reason we watched.
