Let the good times roll.

So I still need a job for the summer... meh.
I will probably end up a lab rat for the forestry building.
Go me.

I'm sooo looking forward to being up here in Houghton for the summer, however.
Random adventures shall ensue.
I also look forward to moving into my new apartment with Jon.
It's further away from campus, and in Hancock by Gino's.
I need a bike.

I need to find time to either go home or see my family at the cottage.
I only got to see my mom for an hour down at Eastern.
Just seeing her made me miss home and all that jazz.
We traveled to Kinkos in Ann Arbor.
And as it wasn't the most quality of times,
It was just good to see her and hear her voice in person.
I miss that.

How I don't miss that city at all.
Great music and establishments.
Stupid, brain-dead people.
Mainly the drivers and students. They can be shot.

Sectionals down at Eastern was awesome.
Was in voting meeting. Went to banquet.
Tried to steal the Mario plants, but failed.
That is an awesome story that'll go down in history.
I love APO.
Next semester will be good times as President.
Hopefully we can have a ridiculously large pledge class.

I've been dating Britta for well over a month now,
and I have to say, any doubt that I had before has been washed away.
Especially the whole her being a vegetarian and all.
Not the big deal that I was afraid it would become.
Things are really good, and her being in NY this summer really doesn't bother me.
It's strange being with someone who's just as busy, and dedicated as I am,
while still being awesome to be around.
I've never laughed at the silliest things so much,
while actually being engaged in genuine conversation.
I don't have to impress her or worry about what other people think.
Definitely one of my better decisions.
It's good to have someone who cares and likes to go out and do things.
That and our never-ending similarities are scary.
I should have started dating her a long time ago...
But it's better this way.

It seems each semester is tougher than the last.
Wonder why?
I have three more to go. That's right, Fall '09, folks.
I have so much work to do this next week before finals.
Waaayyy too much.
I hope i can actually survive it.
I'm treating myself to a great reward at the end:
A 4-5 day extravaganza to the Boundary Waters with some of the best Brothers in APO.

Joining WMTU has been great as well.
I see some good friendships forming.
It's nice to have people look at what you're listening to,
and then tell you that they really like what you have.
I've talked for hours about bands and different sounds.
It's good to find people with good tastes in music.
I like genuine people like those at WMTU.

This is a rather odd post.
Kinda reflective...

Life is good.
