Happy new year!
it is a brand new year!
i welcomed in 2008 with a very pleasant evening of drinking. i thought it was going to be a bit of a disaster actually, as i managed to leave my wallet at home, and so had to attempt to go out on the town with no money or i.d. but luckily, the lovely friends came through, lending me both money and their older looking boyfriends to walk into bars on the arm of, which as it turns out renders you bouncer-proof.
my new years resolutions are as follows:
1. Be brave
2. learn to freaking drive, already.
3. lose weight
4. Be less unreasonably grumpy, especially towards nic, who deserves it the least.
5. Follow my dreams, even if only in a small way
6. work out what my dreams are.
7. sew (hi, Ssar!)

oh, by the way, my cell phone appears to have stopped working so if you want to get in touch with me (to invite me to a party, say, or tell me i'm wonderful) you have to text nic or email me or just ring the home phone.
