(no subject)
Thursday, I went to the credit union and got more money on my loan. They're giving me another $3000. $1700 is for tuition and then they are also just going to pay off one my credit cards, my HSBC Mastercard, because theres a balance of like $700 that is just last semester's tuition that I charged to the card. I just need to go in Tomorrow or Wednesday to finalize the loan and I'm set.
Tuition is due this Friday. I want to get it paid ASAP so I can register.
Last night Chad and I were going to see that play that my friends were doing, but I wanted to talk to the director and make plans for discount tickets cause Chad and I are poor. He was going to give them to us too, but as it turned out, there woudn't have been enough food for the hall with last minute reservations. So we were denied from going. Boo. Oh well.
Instead, we went out and saw Borat and then went out for Chinese food. Borat wasn't nearly as offensive as I thought it would be. Maybe it's cause I'm young and fairly liberal. But the only thing in the movie that was offensive to me was the fat guy getting naked and then having a naked wrestling match. Some parts of the movie were REALLY funny though, like when he tries to learn polite dining skills at a southern dinner party or when he sees Pamela Anderson.
So now that my money problem is slighlty fixed and I can breathe a bit easier, my next biggest stressor is FINALS, followed by CHRISTMAS.
I still don't know what to get anyone for Christmas. I always have trouble with this. And then I feel like a rotten person for not getting someone something they like. Major people I have to shop for are Chad, Jeremy, my Mom, maybe Sarah... AH. I don't know. I'll figure something out. I bought the Best Buy wrapping paper so I can wrap up the WOW and everything. I intend on using it. :P
