This weekend was a blast. Chad quit his job last week cause they were deducting a half hour from his pay for every shift he worked... even if it was a 5 or 6 hour shift, I got him to apply at Best Buy, since we're hiring and all. And of course, he got an interview and a job offer. He'll be working merch/warehouse over the season. Maybe (hopefully) He'll get kept on permanently.
So on Thursday, right after class, I went to Parkside. I got down there around 2:30. Chad, Brant and I went to town to get some food. Then we came back and hung out and waited for people to come over. We ended up playing drinking games and then pictionary.
On Friday, We went to lunch with Sonya, who failed to make an appearance on Thursday night so it was nice to see her. We left right at 1:00 to head home. Chad had his job interview at 2:30. I went home and hung out and showered. I had to work at 5.
After work, Chad and I hung out at his house for a bit. I brought over my laptop, since it had yet to make a connection to the internet, and Chad's neighbor has wireless. Woo. It was amazing. Brant ended up leaving because he wanted to go back to Parkside for the night to see his chick. So Chad and I packed up to go back to my house.
As we were about to walk out the door, Chad turned back and ran to his bedroom and asked what time it was. I told him it was 11:45. And he said "well I guess this is early then..." and handed me a cute ass stuffed bear wearing a ghost costume. After the AWWZ, I asked was the occasion was. It was for Sweetest Day.
AWWZ.
I never got a SD present before. I had just learned to phase that holiday out. It was a really nice surprise. <3
On Saturday, we got up early because I had to work at 10. Work was hellish. I walked in to an angry customer battle zone and had to spend some time on the phone with corporate and dealing with angry phonecalls. I ended up staying a half hour later than scheduled. After work, I went back by Chad's house.
We watched Freddy vs Jason with Brant. At one point, we were pseudo-wrestling and Brant decided he wanted to join, but he ended up elbow dropping me on the back of the head. It hurt so bad! I ended up crying over it and feeling like a 5 year old. I haven't cried because of pain since I was little. I still have a massive lump on the back of my head. It was hard to sleep on it. ugh.
Then Chad and I went back to my house so I could get out of my work clothes and figure out plans for the night. We went in the basement so I could show him my new DDR game. Heck yeah I bought Super Nova. It's amazing.
Then we figured we'd go see a budget movie. The place on hwy 100 is only 2 bucks to see a movie. So we got Brant and Kevin and went to see Beerfest, which was hilarious. I thought it was going to be dumb, but it was actually tolerable and interesting. Check it out.
So then Chad and I ended up dropping off Brant and coming back to my house for the night. On the way home, we noticed that all the streetlights were out. Neat. No one had power. When we got to my house, my mom informed us that everything went out at around 1:10. It was only 1:20 when we got home. So we lit some candles and to keep up entertained, we played games on my laptop, which had tons of battery power left. The power came back around 1:35ish. Omg. Scariest 25 minutes of my life!
So this morning, I took Chad home so he could watch Football with Brant and go back to Parkside and everything. Now Im cleaning and doing some HW and then I have to work at 3. So I guess I'll stop updating.
