Today is my last day off before school starts. My mom has off for the next 6 days. Boo.
Tomorrow I work till 3 and I'm going down to campus with Matt. I haven't seen him all summer. It's nice that he's going to UWM now.
Then, I will probably attend the card game...
Saturday I work at night.
Sunday I work till 4 and then I'm going to see my dad and the family. He got back with my stepmom. I've grown to highly dislike her throughout the last 2 years. I haven't seen her since before I broke up with my ex... Well, she tried to stop by during the rummage sale and act like nothing ever happened. Like she didn't cheat on my dad or drive himself to try and commit suicide last Thanksgiving... Whatever. I guess if he can forgive her and try to stay together, I guess I can try too.
Monday is labor day and the actually scheduled me to work! Woo! Time and a half! Too bad they scheduled me 6-10:15 when we are only open until 9.
Chad moves in to his apartment at school on Tuesday. I wonder what his roommates are like...
I also start classes that day. I'm sad that the summer will come to an end, but I'm also excited for this semesters classes. I'm not sure why, considering I am taking the most random classes ever... But I guess if I can raise my GPA, my car insurance will go down and it could be an easier transfer to matc.b To stay motivated, I'm taking most of my classes with people I know. Jeremy and I are taking buisness ethics, Topher and I are taking sign language, and Dan and I are taking Power of Words. I also checked out d2l and my psych class already has the syllabus out. I read through it and it seems interesting enough.
Today I cleaned my room. I seem to focus better when my room is neat and organized. When it's messy, I get distracted and I feel sloppy and unmotivated.
And Chad told me today that his work schedule won't be so bad when school starts. It used to be where he had to work till midnight on Fridays, from 1-10 on Saturdays and from 5AM-10AM on Sundays. Now he works the same on Midnight, but he works days on Saturdays until 5 PM and the same on Sunday. I was pretty upset before, because that left us zero time together on the weekends. Now I think I can live with this... I should probably change my availabilty on Saturdays now too.. hm.
