This has to be quick, because I'm at work at the law office and I get off in less than ten minutes. But I just had to post real quick because today I got a letter from OU that says...
Because of your high academic achievement in sociology, we are pleased to invite you to become a member of the Alpha Kappa Delta, International Honor Society.
Yay! That'll look excellent on my law school resume.
On a stranger note, the letter goes on to say that they intend to have an official ceremony on Saturday, May 21st.
May 21st in my dad's birthday. Was, anyway. At first, I felt a sinking feeling... he's not going to be there... he would've loved this... but maybe... maybe it's a sign that he is going to be there.
Anyway, sorry about the bragging, but I was excited.
