Since this is a friending meme about activity, how often do you post/comment?
I don't post as much as I used to, but I check LJ every day. I don't always comment but I try to at least check in here and there. I will also comment for sure if I have something to say. :)
I feel like it takes everyone forever to name all of the things they enjoy in movies, television, and music. Let's limit this to the five things/fandoms you care most about right this second, or that you've recently squeed over, or what you'd like to meet more fans of!
1. HOCKEY 2. Disney Movies 3. The Great Gatsby (it's my favorite novel & with the recent movie that came out I just have a lot to say.) 4. Books in general -- I was a literature major back in undergrad 5. BATMAN
What are your interests and/or what are you most passionate about? (If it's easier you can limit it to five things.)
1. Writing. The main reason I'd ever want to be a best-selling author is just so I can write all day and all night and not have to do anything else. 2. Hockey... I seriously act like my life hingest on whether or not my team wins a game. It's sad, really. 3. Shoppingggg (I may or may not be a Sephora addict) 4. Along the same lines... nail polish. I definitely have a nail polish problem. (First step to recovery is admitting there's a problem, right???) 5. Eating.
Are these the things you post most about? If no, what do you post about? What does LiveJournal mean to you?
I tend to post about hockey a fair amount. I'm also currently a law student (shoot me) so I post (read: complain) about that a lot. And if I have a crush on some guy or something I tend to post about that a lot. I used to post a lot of pictures and do "fun" things but I haven't been able to find the time. LJ is hard to give up on because I'm met some fantastic friends through LJ. :)
Who would you like to meet through this meme?
1. Fellow hockey fans! (that said, I'm a Flyers fan and a Red Wings fan (and a bit of a Blue Jackets fan because they're my current "hometown" team) but I have been able to get along w/ "rival fans" in the past.) 2. But honestly, just people who update and who are actually on LJ. I haven't been able to give it up because I like to rant about things and be able to "lock" my rants and you just can't do that on Tumblr (that I'm aware of). And too many "real life" people follow me on twitter and facebook so that's no good either. Ughhh. 3. People who will listen to me blab about things that I think are super important and really dramatic when really it's not important or dramatic. 4. People who don't mind looking at pictures of nail polish from time to time. 5. Fellow writers! Always nice to meet fellow writers. :)
I have SO MANY GATSBY THOUGHTS. Honestly, I was REALLY disappointed with the latest movie (and I wrote a rant if you're interested--I'd LOVE to discuss!) That said, I need to re-watch it now that I know what I'm getting myself into.
