I've had some time to mull over this now. I subscribe to the Voudoun and Santaria pantheons more than any others. It occurred to me that would be the perfect time for me to honor two of my favorite Loas, Ayida and Damballah Wedo.
Together, they are the Loa of fertility, creation, and transformation. They are a married couple, a pair of snakes. Damballah created the world from his 7,000 coils. Ayida was born as a rainbow in the resultant settling mist. Together, they are the serpent and the rainbow.
Damballah and Ayida also represent male/female balance. This seems appropriate for an equinox, when the day and night are equal.
I'd like to decorate a couple (one for a friend and one for myself) of organic eggs with wishes, then bury them at the roots of new plants. I can write the wish with a fine point Sharpie (I can't think of a more eco-friendly ink that would work properly) long-ways, then my name over it sideways. I can bury additional eggs with Ayida and Damballah's veve.
I would still like to figure out an online counterpart to this spell--some sort of meme that would self-propagate, representing the growth and abundance of the wishes. The most simple idea would be an Easter e-card with a hidden symbol. Of course, then I'd have to figure out an Easter message that wouldn't make me hurl. ;)

They protect the World Egg, which symbolizes new life. An egg is also their traditional offering.
