The resurection spell for Buffy was never completed leaving Buffy in her grave and demons tearing Sunnydale apart.
Spike has saved Dawn and they, Tara and Anya are holed up in a hotel somewhere. Everyone not mentioned that lives in Sunnydale is dead. Yes this even includes Super Kitty Fantastico. *tear*
After a few months they go to LA to team up with Angel and Crew. Dawn DOES NOT meet up with Connor until AFTER he comes back from Quortoth. No need to give the poor girl a complex about knowinghim as a baby. When they do meet up lovely D/C ensues. May be angsty in places (I mean hell dimension and dead sister what would you expect?).
