Nationals
I'm at nationals, which are in Cherry Hill. I like being here. It's kinda like being home, but not. We were driving somewhere and one of my friends made a comment about how she really didn't like the architecture here, to which I responded that it was very similar to warminster.
Being here is cool. We gets lots of free stuff. First off, we got free clothes because everyone has to look the same for practice so the ncaa gives us money to buy stuff. Then the ncaa gave everyone a gift, which was a hat and an ipod shuffle. Plus there is lots of free food, and they are paying for us to stay in this really nice hotel, 2 to a room.
I love my new shuffle. I've kinda been wanting one for running and stuff, but I would never fork over the money, so this is perfect. Also, I probably couldn't sell it even if I wanted to because they came out with the new ones so no one wants the old ones anymore.
This is how the weekend if gonna go. Race some time in the midmorning (which I won't race in, but you know, maybe whatever). Award ceremony at noon. Hop on the bus for 9 hours get up to maine and go to midnight madness which is everyone drinking under the library. Graduation, pack all my stuff because I need to be out of my room by 5pm Sunday and hit the road to come back to warminster. Should be interesting.
