It had been bits and pieces, coming together slowly, almost unnoticeable. Uruha, though, did see them, collected them, put them together. Not because he was a good observer, rather because he was the closest.

There had been the day Uruha and Reita sat alone in the studio, surrounded by crumbled sheets, empty bottles and snack wrappers. The blond had been shifting in his seat ever since the others had left the room, boots shuffling.

Reita had been acting suspicious around him for a few days already; something was worrying him, his bitten bottom lip was proof enough.

"Just tell me already." Uruha said, keeping his voice calm, not looking up from his notes. He knew Reita; he wouldn't look at him if he was this nervous in the first place. Then again, it was untypical for him to be nervous around Uruha to begin with.

"How," Reita started, his breath sounding off, his shifting increased. "How does it feel to kiss a guy?"

"Is this about your crush on Ruki?" Uruha dropped his papers, not wanting to miss the annoyed glare Reita would send him now. A handful of people kept teasing him about Ruki (so did a cellar full of fan-letters), he knew there was a tad of truth to it.

"There is no crush on Ruki." Reita answered with a growl.

"About whom is it, then?" It had just been to tease him.

Reita huffed, looking back down at the littered table. "Can't you just answer my question?"

"Hm," the guitarist hummed, pursing his lips as he tried to find the right words, a good answer, since it seemed that Reita was serious about it; which made him wonder. "A kiss is a kiss; the only difference could be stubbles."

"And you expect me to believe that?"

A casual phrase had changed the view on things.

You look good today.

There was nothing special about those words itself.

It had been the way there were spoken, with that hint of flirt, that hint of being more than a mere compliment.

Those words, voiced with a smile on Aoi's lips, a certain something in his eyes. Eyes that stayed on Reita's chest a second too long. Eyes that followed Reita a moment to loong as he walked by.

And he knew Reita was looking back.

As his doorbell rung Aoi hadn't expected to see Uruha in his jogging suit.

"I've read the interview."

"Good morning to you, too." Aoi crossed his arms and leaned against the door-frame.

"Aoi." Uruha rubbed his upper arm, worry on his face.

"Want to come inside?" He stepped aside, already moving back into his small house.

He simply nodded and entered, toeing off his shoes as the door clicked shut.

Aoi went straight for the kitchen, shuffling around. "Water, coke? I even have a Red Bull somewhere, I think."

"Water will do, thank you." He walked into the living room, leaving a trail of damp footsteps behind.

Aoi handed him a cool bottle then sat down, an oversized cardigan pooling around his waist. "You don't want to lecture me, too, do you?"

"No." He uncapped his drink and gulped down a good mouthful of it. "It's not what you think."

"Aren't I the one who should say that?" Aoi laughed, leaning his chin on his left hand. "Gods, what have I been thinking when I told them I missed sharing a room with you..." He moved his face into the palm of his hand.

Uruha frowned, a little confused. "I just don't want to be in the way of something."

His frown was mirrored. "What are you talking about?"

"You're hitting on my best friend," He obliviously ignored the mix of surprise and embarrassment. "and I don't think it's one-sided."

It would have been logical for Aoi to make the first move, now that he knew.

But he didn't.

It wasn't like it was easy to move with heavy grocery bags on each side, pulling him down, numbing his hands. Reita's hand on his hip held him in place, steadily, shaking or not. There had been mumbled words resembling a I need to tell you something with a hushed we need to talk on the side but all was silenced as Reita stopped his attempts at talking and leaned forward, capturing Aoi's mouth in a sudden kiss.

Eyes closed tightly, lips pushing hesitant, neither of them knew what to say next.

Therefore, they kept kissing.
