Brows 2009!
Yes, I did it again.
Like last year I present you my top five brows of Jrock.
Kazuki of ScReW: I actually already considered those straight lines/triangles outdated for a good reason, but damn it looks good on him. Maybe his relatively cute face needs that kind of edge.
Gackt: Just look how the curve is matching the form of his eyes perfectly. Yet, it's too much black paint and the middle part could look a little straighter on the bottom.
Ruki of the GazettE: He dropped the angry shape for a rather elegant (and only slightly angry) new one, I was positively surprised.
Tora of Alice Nine: See, that what I'm talking about: straight line in the middle part, a curve in the outer part. Perfect coloring, too.
Saga of Alice Nine: The second time his are the best, IMHO. Straight lines in the middle part and then a curve supporting his eye shape. Excellent coloring plus a natural vibe due do the filigree fuzziness close to the base of the nose.
Extra - Aoi from the GazettE: His brows are still mostly dead, had been all throughout 2009, but then, with the newest scans, there was hope! If you squint real hard you can see light grey brows of a rather nice shape. Who knows how they will turn out in 2010.
